Good morning and happy Tuesday for the 100th time 🥳
We’ll keep it short and sweet as always, but I wanted to leave a quick thank you note to YOU and all 19,000 climate enthusiasts who read this newsletter.
100 weeks ago, I was sitting in Rio de Janeiro, in my swimmers, with a broken AC, and wrote the first episode of Last Week in Climate, because I was annoyed that all newsletters were so long and fluffy and that no one covered the European ecosystem. By now it has turned into this beautiful community of people supporting one another and connecting across the globe.
I love running into you all at conferences (or at a café in Cape Town - yep, that happened) and hearing how you read this weekly update, how it has helped some of you, and how actively people have been sharing it with friends and colleagues.
With already 10,000 people in the community, this is truly becoming a movement where people support and inspire each other with the work that they’re doing or the work that they hope to do soon.
That being said, THANK YOU!, keep doing the amazing work you’re all doing, keep supporting each other, and I hope to run into you all at the next conference, event, or on a phone call.
